So we all need protein in our diet. We all know that, right? But how much do we need? While we all know that protein is vital for our bones, muscles, skin and hair, there are not only different types of protein, but also varying amounts needed for different people.

Most gym-goers are near experts when it comes to protein. Or so they think! Of course, you would’ve had your head in the sand over the last few years to miss the mass increase in protein shakes and supplements. But recent studies show that while three in four adults claim to regularly exercise (with six in ten doing so at least once a week), one in four adults quizzed still don’t understand how much protein they need in their diet.

A new video by MaxiNutrition, the UK’s no.1 sports nutrition brand, aims to put an end to all the confusion and explain all things protein once and for all. The video explains the importance of protein and tells you exactly how much protein you need to increase or maintain the amount of muscle in your body. It shows you what you should be eating to get your protein fix and clarifies the different types of protein, what they do and when you should be eating them.
