Roast potatoes
Everyone loves a good roast potato, but waist-friendly they not! Potatoes are high GI and usually served dripping in fat, so this Christmas, swap your spuds for a healthier substitute.
Make it healthy: Sweet potatoes are a great alternative to roasted spuds. High in vitamin A and naturally low in sugar they are super-easy to cook. Lightly coat them in coconut oil and roast them in the oven for a melt-in-the-mouth Christmas dinner accompaniment.
