Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a side of cranberry sauce, but this festive dinner garnish is often chock full of sugar, which is added to mask the fruits’ naturally tart flavour.
Make it healthy: Swap regular sugar for a natural sweetener like xylitol. Unlike the regular sweet stuff, xylitol doesn’t cause any diet-wrecking blood sugar spikes.
