The Mae Deli
Founded by food blogger Ella Woodward, aka Deliciously Ella, The Mae Deli focuses on using simple, unprocessed ingredients. The menu is entirely wheat-, dairy- and refined-sugar free. Create your own ‘Mae bowl’ by choosing a combination of four different dishes, all of which are packed with warm, hearty elements such as falafel, lentils or sweet potato. Much of the food is plant based, but roasted salmon and chicken are also on the menu. Finish off with a raw fudge brownie or nutty chocolate smoothie. The menu here reflects the recipes in Ella’s published cook books, giving the deli a personal and charming touch. You can find these little gems at Seymour Place or Weighhouse Street.
