4 Swap mashed potato for cauliflower puree

Mashed potato is the ultimate comfort food, but while the creamy stuff scores highly on the satisfaction scale, spuds aren’t exactly the most waistline-friendly veggie. Swap high-GI potatoes for cauliflower – an under-appreciated yet health-giving member of the brassica family which is naturally anti-inflammatory and crammed with antioxidants. Simply steam a head of cauliflower until soft and mash with a spoon of creme fraiche and a knob of butter.
