If you need a quick pick-me-up but don’t want to hamper healthy eating goals too much, then opt for a less indulgent snack that’ll give you lasting energy. From high-protein to low-calorie, there are loads of ways to snack smarter these days.
1. Nairn’s Oatcakes (£1.29, nairns-oatcakes.com)
When your tastebuds are tingling for something savoury, step away from the crisps and reach for these wholegrain oatcakes instead. They’re full of fibre and complex carbohydrates that’ll help you stay energised for longer. These all-natural snacks taste incredible with a dollop of almond butter, too.
