For the side
If you’re partial to the odd condiment to accompany your meal, you’ll know how tricky it can be to find those that are free from gluten (even certain spices contain gluten!). While many people wouldn’t think to check the label for these, some household items such as barbecue and soy sauce do in fact contain gluten. But, as ever, we have a solution! Instead of soy sauce, how about trying tamari? Both byproducts of fermented soybeans, the main difference between the two is the presence of wheat. Soy has it, tamari doesn’t. However, when it comes to taste, they’re extremely similar, with tamari being a darker, slightly richer flavour that the common Chinese soy sauce you may be familiar with. With this Organic Tamari from Sanchi, we’re certainly converts!
