Rich in potassium, vitamin B6, and magnesium, bananas are a food packed with nutrients. If you still can’t resist the occasional snack, then there’s no better option than the humble banana. From 11p a pop, snacking on one of these can be up to six times cheaper than a standard chocolate bar! Replacing the processed snacks for a piece of fresh fruit like a banana, will keep your sweet tooth satisfied and combat any of those morning sugar cravings you may be having. If you’re a chocoholic like me, try dipping a banana in a couple of squares of melted dark chocolate, then placing onto a plate and setting in the fridge for another healthy, delicious snack, which can be prepared ahead of time.
