The British feast: ‘Picnic Favourites’, Tom’s Kitchen deli
If you want the classic picnic experience then head to Tom’s Kitchen deli, which uses seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients to create their hamper. Hearty staples such as sandwiches and baguettes are accompanied by fresh juices, flapjacks and brownies. The emphasis here is on the homemade – food you could make, but only better. Available from their Canary Wharf and St Katharine Docks branches, these rustic hampers can be enjoyed in the surrounding parks with views over London. They can also be pre-ordered from the St Katharine Docks Floating Cinema, to be eaten while watching your favourite film.
£30 for an essentials basket or £45 for a favourites basket, tomskitchen.co.uk
