If you love the frilly green superhero as much as we do, you’ll love these 3 things you can do with kale! The iron-rich brassica can be used in hundreds of ways and is super easy to cook with, so don’t get stuck in a rut. Try one of these ideas instead.

1. Fry it with bacon and garlic
Mmmmm… we’re getting excited just thinking about it! Gently fry some crushed garlic and some small pieces of bacon in coconut oil, then add the kale, toss it through the garlic and bacon and you’re done. Yum!

2. Chuck it in your juice
You’ll need a proper juicer rather than just a blender to add this little beaut to your green juice. But once you’ve got that sorted it’s easy peasy to whip up a tasty green treat – simply whizz up with some ginger, a little bit of apple, some spinach and a squeeze of lemon and enjoy!

3. Bake it as crisps
Haven’t tried kale crisps yet? You’re missing out! Pop a decent spread of kale leaves on a large baking tray and sprinkle with paprika. Then cook on a low heat to dehydrate. Keep a close eye on them as they burn easily – and when they crisp up, they’re done!
