Are you a cyclist who’s feeling a bit bored of your usual fitness regime? Give yourself something to train towards with this overnight cycle challenge through the main streets of London. Switch it up by registering to cycle the Nightrider 2015 for charity and get your motivation back on track.
It’ll be kicking off while the capital sleeps, as the route will take you through over 50 of London’s iconic landmarks
Nightrider 2015 is back for its sixth year on Saturday 6-7th June, and is the perfect cycle challenge to keep up your fitness inspo. It’ll be kicking off while the capital sleeps, as the route will take you through over 50 of London’s iconic landmarks for 100KM, or you can cycle the new-to-2015 60KM route – a little gentler, we think! You’ll be doing good, too, as this is all to raise funds for a charity Nightrider supports, or you can chose to cycle for the charity of your choice. Cycling will have never felt so rewarding!
If you’re an avid cyclist and would like to get involved in this spectacular event with a unique music and film twist throughout the night, then this is perfect for you. Organised by the leading charity tour operator, Classic Tours, it’s safe to assume that Nightrider will be an exciting charity challenge. They’ve raised an unbelievable amount for charity (over £90 million) through exciting events such as the London to Brussels Bike ride for Brainwave, the Kilimanjaro Trek for Action for Children and so many more. This unique cycle will be no different.
If 60 or 100K seems like a big feat, then you’ll be pleased to hear that regular (much welcome!) break stops will be available to you throughout the route and you’ll also be provided with a well-earned breakfast and a medal in the morning once you’ve crossed that finished line. The rewarding feeling afterwards will speak for itself. Whether you’ve been cycling for a short time or you’ve been out and about on your bike for years, you shouldn’t miss out on this stimulating, innovative event.
