Need a little help to get your winter training going? Running specialist Runner’s Need has teamed up with Cancer Research UK London Winter Run to help runners get their training off to a great start in the colder months.

The Cancer Research UK Winter Run is a land-marked packed central London 10K through iconic spots including St Pauls, the London Eye and Somerset House, and provides a great goal for runners to work towards during the cold winter months. The much-anticipated event will be packed full of fitness fun including Snow Zones, a Swiss Winter Wonderland, a Snowball Warm-up and Polar Bear Hugs!

The run is supported by MP Kate Hoey who says: ‘While there has been significant improvements in recent years, 55% of adult Londoners are still not doing more than 30 minutes exercise, every three months. The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is an exciting new challenge to encourage people to get more active and to raise funds for this important cause. So, rather than hibernating this winter, pull on your trainers and take to the streets of the capital.’

If you fancy getting in on the fun, you can get started with Runners Need who are holding weekly group runs across London stores at a range of times, days and distances – so there’s no excuse not to schedule in a few training runs. We’ll see you at the finish line!
