Although it doesn’t sound too healthy, it’s packed with goodness and tastes wonderful. Plus, it’s suitable for vegans, too. What more could you want? Enjoy it post-workout or as a guilt-free snack.
Not only will this protein-packed smoothie assist the recovery and repair of muscles after exercise, but the high fibre content will also help to stabilise blood sugar levels, keeping you sustained and energised for longer.
Ingredients
Serves 1-2
1 large banana, frozen
1 scoop brown rice protein powder
1.5 cup almond milk
2 medjool dates
1 tbsp almond-butter
Optional:
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of cinnamon
Method
Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth!
