Why we like it:
Foam rollers are a Godsend – we don’t know how we ever managed our exercise routine without them. The Physical Company Performance Roller is two inches longer than 99% of foam rollers but that’s not the only reason we’re big fans of it. one in particular is intricately patterned and especially firm, which really makes a difference in getting into those tight areas and breaking down stubborn knots. This makes it perfect for recovery sessions, especially along the upper back – a must if you work a desk job that affects your posture. I also found it incredibly helpful in priming the muscles before a workout – a quick roll through my tightest areas (glutes, hips and back) boosted my mobility noticeably. It can also be useful post-workout as part of your cool-down routine.
