If your beach holiday is imminent, whip yourself into shape with our fat-burning beach body workout
Beach holiday, booked. Now for the next step: getting that bikini body. If you want to get lean and slim down in time to bare all on the beach, then keeping your workouts fast-paced and intense will really boost that fat burning potential. The harder you work your heart, lungs and muscles, the bigger the after burn effect – which means your body will still be burning fat once your workout is over.
Try the workout sequence below, performing 15 reps of each move back to back in a circuit-style format, resting for 10-15 seconds between each set. Then, once all moves have been done once over, take a minute’s rest. Repeat this 5 times. If you’re a beginner, you may need to take a slightly longer rest period of 1½ minutes. Remember to work as hard as you possibly can while doing the moves.
