Popularity in ‘gritty’ fitness is on the rise, and we’re totally on board! What do we mean by ‘gritty’ fitness? Well, when you’re stressed or simply looking for an escape from your daily routine, your first thought might be ‘do some yoga’ or ‘go for a run’. A calming workout could help you relax and clear your mind, but trying a form of exercise that’s intense, hard-hitting and energising may be just as therapeutic, if not more. There’s nothing better than hitting a punching bag with everything you’ve got when you’re feeling frustrated, or rocking out to awesome music during circuit training after a long, hard day at work.
