Getting hooked on the gym is no bad thing, but if you agree with the points below you may be nearing a full-on addiction… not that we’d judge you! Here are 10 ways you know you’re a proper gym bunny.
1. Your gym kit needs its own wardrobe…
What? Pink lycra is essential for spin class, and yes you do need a different sports bra for every day of the week.
2. A scraggy bun is your go-to mid-week hair do…
You don’t have time for blow dry or hair straightening. When you’re rushing from the gym to work to yoga, a bun is the only way to go.
3. You get aggy when people schedule drinks on spin night…
Ok, so yeah you would love to hang out with your buddies, but what about spin? I mean, it’s spin night.
4. You know all the gym receptionists by name…
Ok, maybe you are spending a bit too much time at the gym.
5. You’re always carrying an extra bag…
You never know when the chance for a great workout might pop up, so spare kit is essential! Yeah ok, so people on the train might not appreciate your huge bag and your friends may give you funny looks when you arrive with a rusksack to after-work drinks, but what do you care?
6. You just don’t get people who don’t exercise…
What do they do with their evenings? How do they run for the bus? Don’t they want to look hot in lycra?
7. You’ve started wearing gym wear as casual wear…
It’s comfy, it’s sweat-wicking, it’s stylish, what’s not to love?
8. You have gym friends…
You’re there so often that everyone recognises your face. You go for coffee with Amy, drinks with Charlotte and are going on a date with Jamie…
9. Your laundry bin is always overflowing…
Sweating it out in pursuit of a hot bod means gym clothes are strictly one wear before washing!
10. You feel lost on a rest day…
You know it’s good to take a day off, but you’re itching to get moving. In fact your rest days usually involve taking the dog for a long walk, cycling to the shops and squeezing in a game of tennis.
