Combining oats with chia, yoghurt and berries makes a brilliant breakfast that gives you all the vitamins, healthy fat, protein and carbs you need to boost your energy levels and keep you feeling full up until lunchtime.
Ingredients (serves 1)
20g old-fashioned oats
60ml skimmed or non-dairy milk
¼tsp of vanilla extract
A sprinkle of ground cinnamon
1tbsp chia seeds
8tbsp non-fat Greek yoghurt
100g diced strawberries
50g blueberries
Method
The night before you want to eat this, put the oats, milk, vanilla, chia seeds and cinnamon in a bowl, jar or tall glass. Stir and leave in the fridge.
In the morning, layer in the yoghurt and you’re good to go.
Prep time: 2 minutes, plus overnight soaking
