Sometimes you just need a breakfast or snack that you can take out the door with you and drink on the road. This express oatmeal smoothie recipe is the perfect answer! It’s super fast to make, not to mention nutritious and delicious.
Ingredients
1 (27g) sachet Quaker Oats So Simple Original
100g strawberries (washed and de-hulled)
1tbsp chia seeds
200ml almond milk (or use coconut milk or regular milk)
Half a banana
Method
Blend the contents of the bag of Quaker Oats So Simple briefly in a blender to chop the oats even finer.
Add the almond (or other) milk, strawberries, chia seeds and banana and blend until smooth. Pour into a cup and drink straight away, or take it with you to enjoy ‘on the road’.
