This classic treat doesn’t have to be a health nightmare. PT and blogger Zanna van Dijk shares her recipe for delicious, oat-packed chocolate chip cookies that use stevia, vanilla extract and coconut oil to add flavour, instead of refined sugar. One word: yum!
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup stevia
1 egg
1/2tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark choc chips
1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)
Method
Mix the ingredients together.
Form the mixture into cookie shapes and put on a sheet of baking paper on a tray.
