Busy bee? That shouldn’t mean you can’t sneak a workout in. Try this 15-minute fat blast workout.
Good news first: burning fat shouldn’t take forever. Now the bad news: if you want to turn your body into a fat-burning furnace that’ll keep going all day long, you’re going to have to work hard for your limited time in the gym. Here’s a workout that’ll do the job – but only if you get after it with all you’ve got. Before you start, make sure you’re comfortable with all the moves – you don’t want your form breaking down when you’re in the middle of the workout.
How to do this workout: You’re going to do this on-the-minute style. Every minute, at the start of the minute, do the reps for each exercise – then rest for the remainder of the minute. Done in 30 seconds? Rest for 30 seconds. Done in 55 seconds? Then you’re pretty much going to have to go straight into the next set… Keep these moves rotating for 15 minutes.
Goblet squat
Reps: 5
Hold a kettlebell by the horns or a dumbbell by one end, and squat down until your elbows touch the inside of your knees, keeping your weight on your heels. Drive back up to finish the move.
