Pear, spinach and lettuce smoothie recipe

If you’ve been burning the candle at both ends this antioxidant-packed pear, spinach and lettuce smoothie recipe from Eliza Flynn at Healthy Living London is the perfect way to give you and your immune system a lift.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 large, ripe pear
2 handfuls of spinach
3-4 lettuce leaves
Water to top it up with

Method:

1. Chop the core and stalk from the pear then chop the rest of the pear up.

2. Throw everything into a blender and top it up with water.

3. Blend for 10-15 seconds or until smooth.

4. Pour into two glasses and serve with a straw.
