Green ginger and apple juice recipe

This refreshing green ginger and apple juice recipe offers a wealth of health-giving benefits. Warming ginger has anti-inflammatory and digestion-promoting properties, the kale and spinach provide a hit of iron and the apple adds infection-fighting vitamin C and a dash of sweetness.

Serves 2

Ingredients:

4 apples

1 stick celery

40g spinach

30g kale

15cm piece cucumber

5cm piece fresh root ginger

1tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

1tsp moringa powder (or any other superfood powder), optional

Method:

Add the solid ingredients one at a time to your juicer, and then collect the juice in a jug. When this is done, add in the lime juice and superfood powder. Stir/whisk all of the ingredients together until well mixed and smooth.

Pour into glasses and serve.
