Treat your skin this spring with a luxe and natural superfood detox mask.

You don’t have to spend a fortune on fancy products when it comes to detoxing the skin and, let’s be honest, we could all do with saving some cash. Super-easy, effective and cheap to make, this DIY superfood detox mask can be whipped up in seconds and is just what skin needs after a long winter. Tomato is bursting with antioxidants and vitamins, and, along with clay, extract impurities from the skin, detoxifying and ridding the body of toxins. Tomato also balances the skin’s natural pH while honey acts as an anti-inflammatory with incredible healing powers that leaves complexions protected and silky smooth.

Ingredients

2 tbsp tomato juice

1 tbsp clay (rose and Kaolin are great for normal and sensitive skin, try French green or rhassoul for oily skins)

1 tbsp honey

Method

Mix all ingredients into a paste and slather all over the face and body. Leave for 15 minutes and then rinse to reveal glowing skin.

About Clean Beauty Co

All natural beauty brand Clean Beauty Co. was founded in April 2016 by twenty something clean beauty lovers, Dominika and Elsie. The London-based duo create non-toxic beauty products, formulate skin-food DIY recipes and host interactive beauty workshops where you can learn how to make green beauty products from scratch. They launched their debut book, Clean Beauty in January 2017.

Massive beauty junkies but fed up with shelling out money on beauty buys that didn’t do what they said on the tin, they decided to develop their own natural range. So what makes the products so different? They use fewer ingredients, no fillers and always ensure absolute potency. The packaging and product names are also pretty cool too! They firmly believe in the less is more approach when it comes to ingredients and only use natural plants, nuts, flowers, seeds and oils to nourish the skin and hair. On a mission to build a modern beauty brand and educate beauty lovers to take control of what they put on their skin, the girls have completed courses in natural skincare, essential oils and EU cosmetic legislation and have a Diploma in Natural Skincare.
