Thought exercise was energy-sapping? Think again. Try this energy-boosting workout for a new lease of life.

If you don’t feel like you’ve got the energy to push yourself through sprints or an interval workout, don’t ditch the gym altogether. On those days when your batteries are running a little low, hit the weights for a fat-blasting session that’ll leave you feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

Opt for the heaviest weights you can manage to keep the effort high, but perform 5 reps only of each exercise. Take 30-45 seconds’ rest after each move has been completed once. Repeat four more times.
