Looking for fun new classes? Check out this tried and tested: Flip out Stoke.

Fitness today comes in all different shapes and forms, with more and more of us stepping off the tedious treadmill, and seeking new ways to break a keen sweat. If you are looking to (literally) bounce back into your fitness, then here’s the ultimate fitness trend that you must try. Get ready to jump and flip your way to becoming fit with the trampoline exercises classes held at Flip Out Stoke in Stone, Staffordshire.

‘Flip Fit’ is a fun, yet challenging circuit styled trampoline class that combines cardio, resistance training and core stability, aiming to increase the body’s flexibility and balance by incorporating trampolining with functional training. In fact, trampolining is a form of cardiovascular fitness that decreases your chances of impact-based injuries. Unlike jogging, where the impact of making contact with the ground increases the risk of any joint injuries, when you jump on a trampoline, the flexible surface moves with you as you land, reducing the impact of the landing.

Trampolining isn’t just for kids! As a matter of fact, the repetitive bouncing motion is great to improve your cardiovascular fitness, and offers many other health benefits – such as boosting your immune system, and your strength, balance and coordination. The list is endless, and what’s even better is that Flip Fit is suitable for mixed abilities. Flip Out Stoke director Elliott Shuttleworth comments: ‘it’s not just for families – these evening fitness classes offer a great chance for adults of all ages to experience the fun of trampolining and stay active. Why let the kids have all the fun?’ The classes are a lively way to boost energy, lose weight, strengthen and tone, all while burning up to 1000 calories per class!

In order to make exercises seem more enjoyable, Flip Out Stoke manager Robyn Carpenter explains that: ‘Trampoline exercise is in fact three times more effective than running because it uses so many muscle groups and still works your cardiovascular health.’ The trampoline’s springs effectively takes away the harsh impact that can occur when jogging on the pavement/ Robyn adds: ‘the circuits allow you to work at your own comfort and ability level while using the trampoline to improve your core strength, cardiovascular fitness and balance.’

Not only does trampolining increase oxygen capacity and oxygen circulation to the body’s tissues, it also helps to stimulate your metabolism – meaning you will feel much healthier and alert throughout the day. Robyn says: ‘The classes are really unique and cater for people aged 15 and over. For fitness enthusiasts, there is the chance to work at a really high energy level, burning around 1,000 calories in a one-hour session!’

Put a spring in your step and boost your overall fitness with Flip Out Stoke, classes can be booked online and cost £6 per one hour session, or £50 for a 10-week course.

Flip Out has centres across the UK, but the new class is just exclusive to Stone, Staffordshire. Flip Out Stoke can be found on Opal Way at Stone Business Park in Staffordshire, ST15 0SS.
