After its tremendous turnout last year, Yoga Connects festival is back at the beautiful Stanford Hall for Summer 2016, and this year it’s going to be bigger and better than ever! Embrace your inner yogi because it is this season’s ultimate yoga festival that you don’t want to miss.

During 14 – 17 July, get ready for a fun-packed weekend full of local and global yoga teachers bringing their eclectic styles to the mix with an awesome music line-up to match. Voted one of the top 20 yoga festivals by Cody App in 2015, there’s no doubt that this year’s Yoga Connects festival is sure to take the yoga community by storm.

What attracts yoga enthusiasts to this spiritual summertime festival is the driven passion behind the vision of Yoga Connects, where they are all about the notion of celebration, transformation and connection. In fact, yoga isn’t the only thing expected to get your heart pumping and your adrenaline going; expect impressive showings of Shamanic ceremonies, Capoeira, dancing, drumming and raving. And that’s not even half of the line-up!

Yoga Connects guarantees yoga royalty from the likes of yoga mummy Laura Sykora, whose adorable warrior poses with her mini-me has gone viral on Instagram. Dylan Werner is returning for his second year as one of the original Connection Tribe with his gravity-defying moves, and LA-based Cyber Yoga, the acrobatic yoga performer, is sure to bring his own flavour of Cirque du Soleil to entertain festival goers. Involve yourself with the stimulating combination of live music and asana with one of the leading Jivamutkti teacher trainers, Emma Henry, who will guide you through her most dynamic moves as well as syncing your body with its musical surroundings. Those after more of a chilled vibe will be looked after by the one and only Natasha Kerry, who will be bringing her deep, core-building Yin yoga into practice.

Yoga Connects aims to cause happiness on the planet, and what better way to do so than with an emerging lineup highlighting and celebrating unsigned UK artists? From tribal beats to electronic dance, as well as stunning vocals from Brooke Sharkey and many more, we’re certainly in for a musical treat. But it doesn’t stop there: on Saturday you’ll be pumping it up with the Nine Lives Yoga Rave, so get your glitter and spandex at the ready!

With such festival excitement, a little down-time post downward dog may be just what you need. Yoga Connects has got you covered with a wealth of inspirational talks, workshops, a wellbeing spa, wood-fired hot tubs, a massage area, veggie and vegan food stalls, and a yoga banquet courtesy of the Yoga Supper Club to keep your body and soul nourished with goodness. The list is truly endless!

Yoga Connects takes pride in respecting its land and that’s why the festival is an entirely plastic-free zone with awareness and mindfulness at the forefront of its DNA. All waste will be mulched and used to feed the organic permaculture beds on Stanford Hall’s estate, and the organic vegetables grown will feed the festival next year.
