Get ready to take your HIIT training out of the gym and onto the water this summer. Aquaphysical has brought out the pool workout you need to try, so what are you waiting for? It’s time to take the plunge and feel the burn with Floatfit.

While we love nothing more than a gruelling weights session down at the local gym, Aquaphysical has created a brand new way of exercising using the natural fluidity of water – and we can’t get enough. Floatfit is the latest trend sending the fitness industry bonkers, consisting of a 30-minute HIIT workout including burpees, lunges, squats, mountain climbers and planks with a twist – it’s all done on the water.

It doesn’t matter whether you’re the next Rebecca Adlington or haven’t slipped your swimsuit on in years – Floatfit is accessible to absolutely all swimming abilities. A good sense of balance, coordination and humour is all that’s needed to take part, as well as a warm change of clothes once it’s over, of course. Both body and mind will be put to the test through a variety of exercises, with the main physical challenge coming from the instability of the water. It’s not an easy task to master, but it definitely pays off. Expect to feel a mighty boost in confidence, motivation and sense of achievement afterwards.

Fancy taking on Floatfit? The sessions are running at 8:45am and 9:45am every Saturday from 6 August – 10 September at the Haymarket Hotel in Soho, London. Not only will you get put through your paces in the pool but you’ll also be able to tuck into a refuelling brunch post-workout – all for a set price of £30 per session. This is a fitness class that you don’t want to miss out on!
