Planet Manna have announced their launch of mini fitness festivals over summer 2016, in which they will host afternoons of mini-Manna pop-up festivals across London’s best rooftops. What’s all this in aid of I hear you ask? Well in celebration of life of course! There’s no better excuse to have a party than that! And with lots of extra offerings it just keeps getting better and better.

Attendees are in for a treat as the festivals promise to present a line-up of the most inspiring groups of yoga and fitness instructors of the moment. There will also be plenty of other offerings such as artists, dancers, speakers, delicious food and live music, making it rather apt that Manna’s name translates to food for the soul.

The first one launched on 21st June 2016 – International Yoga Day to be precise and saw the amazing Cat Meffan host a special yoga practice at Pergola On The Roof. Guests’ post-yoga refuel included delicious fare from Crucial Food café, Coco Jax and Radiance Daily. So expect to be spoint if you plan to attend one of their amazing mini-Mannas this summer!

The mini-Mannas are little tasters to prepare for the big-Manna festivals in 2017: three day festivals in mesmerising natural locations. They will include fitness, yoga, food and drink, plus plenty of live music – what a perfect way to spend a chilled out summer’s evening on a rooftop in London hey?! The locations for these mini-festivals will all have an urban feel, but will include an element of wellness and beauty at each one. You can also expect guest speakers and a few unexpected creative pop ups too!

Planet Manna was the creation of founders Maeve Buckley and Nadia Moussa who felt that there was a gap in the market for something like this. They wanted to provide busy and active people with a chance to get away for a short, but intense break. The concept is that of a festival, but one that you can come back from feeling refreshed and revitalised, rather than that usual Sunday feeling of pure exhaustion from a weekend of over-indulgence. Their idea was to create an event that would combine a mix of yoga, fitness, adventure sports, great food and music to cater for everyone. Planet Manna explain that “this is for men and women, beginners and experts, who want to enjoy all the elements of a festival, but one that you leave feeling amazing.”

We’ll be making sure we’re grabbing a spot as soon as possible! The first mini-Manna consumer event will take place at the Lyric Rooftop, West London location on 10th July 2016.
