Halifax may have gained its fame for being the original home of Rowntree Mackintosh Confectionery, but it has a lot more in store for you to look forward to. The unique Piece Hall, renowned as being one of the most astounding buildings in Britain, is soon going to reopen following a £19m restoration. Opening its doors in 1779, the Grade 1 Listed building will become home to a number of shops, cafés and restaurants and is set to host an array of outdoor events in the public square.
