Lululemon joins London’s Summer Streets, the event which sees Regent Street pedestrianised to host a wealth of activities this July.

London’s annual Summer Streets event is back! Kicking off this weekend (July 2) and running every Sunday until July 23, Regent Street will once again become pedestrianised from Oxford Circus all the way to Piccadilly Circus in order to make room for a fantastic range of entertainment and activities along the street. Themes of culture, style, wellness, food and drink combine to create the street’s biggest and boldest lifestyle festival yet – and it’s all for free!

One of the latest brands to lend its name to the event is athleisure empire Lululemon. Celebrating its first summer as a European flagship, the Canadian athletic apparel brand is hosting a series of fun and complementary sweat sessions. Choose from a HIIT workout with Psycle, body conditioning by Third Space or F45‘s Varsity.

Psycle’s HIIT class (July 2) will be led by ambassador and lead instructor Kevin McGuire whose background in gymnastics promises a powerful workout; while Third Space’s 45-minute full body conditioning class (July 9 and 16) is designed to sculpt and tone the arms, legs, glutes and core through the use of resistance loop bands. If you fancy giving the ever-popular F45 a go, Varsity (July 23) is a functional high intensity cardio circuit that incorporates plyometrics and bodyweight exercises to smash an incredible 800 calories in 45 minutes. Rather ditch the chaos and find your breath instead? Lululemon is also bringing back its popular ‘Om The Move’ mobile meditation bus. The double-decker London bus offers an oasis of calm with every detail designed with wellbeing in mind.

Other additions to the festival this year include a Summer Streets Food Quarter: a pop-up food market fusing a selection of London’s best drinking and dining destinations including Gaucho, Heddon Street Kitchen, Masala Zone and Piccolino. Live music will be filling the streets once again with performances from Brazilian Samba, Military Brass, Klexmer trio and a Notting Hill steel band, while family-friendly workshops and pop-ups – including a wildlife maze and Despicable Me ‘Gru Mobile’ – provide entertainment for all the family. And if Lululemon wasn’t providing enough zen already, Kiehl’s mini pampering sessions and skin consultations might. A number of stores along the streets will also be getting into the spirit of things, providing shoppers with complementary drinks and nibbles as well as workshops, giveaways and exclusive offers to truly kickstart summer.
