Sweet cherry blast smoothie

This sweet cherry blast smoothie is delicious and soothing for your senses. As cherries are high in melatonin, which helps to control your sleep cycle, while bananas contain high levels of magnesium – a calming mineral – and honey has been used for years as a natural sleep aid. They’re also deliciously sweet ingredients, which will help raise your serotonin levels and balance out your mood.

 

Ingredients

½ banana

140g cherries

1tbsp honey

¼tsp nutmeg

To ‘max line’ of almond milk

 

Method

Add all ingredients to the tall cup of your Nutribullet (or similar blender/smoothie maker) and extract for 35 seconds, or until smooth. Enjoy!
