Want to start your five-a-day early in the morning? Try this strawberry-banana yoghurt drink, created by Gizzi Erskine for Arla Foods.

‘Sometimes you’re not that hungry in the morning, but a fresh, zingy smoothie is a light way to wake you up and make a dent in your five-a-day,’ says Gizzi. ‘They can sometimes be a bit time-consuming when you factor in chopping up the ingredients and clearing away. My favourite hack for this is to spend a bit of time preparing everything for several different smoothies in advance. You can put most of the ingredients into a freezer bag and freeze them, then in the morning all you need to do is add your liquids and any additional nuts or seeds and whiz up in a blender. And it’ll be nice and cold without having to add ice cubes!’
