Want to discover how what you eat is affecting your mood? Then sign up to this month’s Mood Foods seminar!

16-22 May is Mental Health Awareness week, and as much as our thoughts seem to govern our moods, did you know that what you eat could have a dramatic effect on how you feel (and think) too?

With over 8.2 million cases of anxiety reported in the UK in 2013, research is increasingly finding that our diet plays a crucial part in the state of our mental health. For example, certain foods such as turkey and almonds, contain an amino acid called tryptophan which when consumed is converted into our happy hormone, serotonin. Furthermore, eating probiotic foods not only improves the health of your gut but can also have a direct impact on the health of your brain.

Whether you suffer with high stress levels, anxiety, depression or PMT then you may want to attend the Mood Foods seminar, hosted by Ad Virtus UK; a health and fitness organisation based in London (advirtus.co.uk/) and presented by Nicola Shubrook, qualified nutritionist and Director of Urban Wellness (urbanwellness.co.uk), for an evening of practical and everyday advice to help you improve your moods.

You’ll also get a FREE goody bag, live food demonstrations and an opportunity for a Q&A with Nicola.
