Oaty breakfast bites

If you’re after a nutritious on-the-go brekkie, look no further than these oaty breakfast bites. With more protein than most grains, the oats will fuel your morning and help to keep you full till lunchtime – or at least elevenses.

Ingredients (makes 10)

1 tbsp coconut oil
120g apple sauce
80ml Alpro Oat Original drink
1½ tbsp honey
1 tbsp cinnamon
125g oats
150g frozen raspberries

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan 160°C, then grease a deep 15 x 15cm cake tin and set to one side.

Melt the coconut oil in a large pan. Mix with the apple sauce until well blended and smooth.

Add the Alpro Oat Original drink, honey, cinnamon and oats, then mix well and gently fold in the raspberries.

Pour the mixture into the tin and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before dividing into 10 equal pieces.
