If you’re a keen cyclist who bikes to work every day, then you’ll understand the annoyance of packing your perfectly-pressed clothes in a rucksack, then pulling them out on your arrival to work to find them more crumpled than a used Kleenex. Well, look no further because here is your solution…

Meame is a cycle brand that has cleverly found an opportunity to create a brilliant collection of cycle-wear, which will help you transition from bike to office while still looking smart and fashionable. These timeless pieces are made from special fabrics that wick away sweat – leaving you cool, dry and comfortable, but with the potential to peddle to the max, restriction free.

The brand was created by husband and wife team Megan Aylott and Steven Azancot. The idea stemmed from Megan’s inability to find comfortable and safe cycle-wear that also looked great. We can certainly relate to this feeling!  Luckily Megan studied functional fabric at Central St Martin’s College of Art, so she put her passion for design and fashion into creating clothes that look great and also perform brilliantly.

Megan explains: ‘Many people are not prepared to sacrifice their style for the sake of their commute.’

But as style should not be put before safety, thankfully the Meame team has created clothes that can adapt to any situation – whether you are leisurely cycling through the park or battling traffic on your way to work.

To get the ball rolling, Meame has focused on classic looks rather than following sports fashion trends and we think this is sensible.  Intrigued? Scroll through the gallery to peek at the collection, then visit meame.co.uk to find other items and colour options.
