Head down to one of London’s hottest spin studios on Friday 27 January at 6pm for a Girls Night (SP)IN at BOOM Cycle Holborn. The event, in aid of the 2017 Smear for Smear campaign with Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, will raise awareness about the disease while helping you see out the first month of the year in style.

Dubbed the ultimate fitness slumber party, guests will take part in a 45-minute spin class before being treated to Cheeky manicures, hair braiding with The Braid Bar, delicious food and some well-earned bubbles (obvs). Dance until late and leave with a goody bag worth £50 jam-packed with treats from Sweaty Betty, Illamasqua and Pip & Nut to name but a few.

The only UK charity dedicated to women affected by cervical cancer, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust works to support women through diagnosis and treatment while also raising crucial awareness of prevention. Two women on average lose their lives to the disease every day, but cervical cancer can be prevented – and regular smear tests hold the key. Despite this, one in four women still do not attend this potentially life-saving test.

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is therefore on a mission to show women just how important their smear tests really are, and in turn save as many lives as possible. Falling on Cervical Cancer Prevention Week (22 – 28 January), all of the funds raised at Girls Night (SP)IN will be donated to the charity, aiding continued research, campaigning and support for women across the country.

Tickets cost £40 and are on sale now at boomcycle.co.uk. And don’t forget to attend your smear, reduce your risk of cervical cancer. #SmearForSmear
