Looking for a new workout shoe that boasts durability, style and performance? At an elite CrossFit Throwdown workout at east London’s Protein Studios, team WHL eagerly awaited to be put through our paces and see Reebok launch their new CrossFit Nano 6.0 trainers.

CrossFit in all of its glory is certainly not for the faint-hearted. It takes sheer determination, strength and stamina to put yourself through the intensity and grit of the workout, but Reebok, the leading global provider of CrossFit apparel and footwear, certainly help take the edge of with the Nano 6.0 – the latest shoe geared towards CrossFit workouts.

In celebration of the shoe’s launch, over 150 people participated in the CrossFit Throwdown – including us! We were there to take part, support each other and create a sense of community while people of all abilities and backgrounds took on an intense 60-minute workout. The end of each round saw the elimination of the team with the lowest amount of reps completed. After a truly gruelling session – plus an exclusive guest appearance from 2009’s CrossFit Games runner-up Tommy Hackenbruck – the dark green team, headed up by Team Reebok UK’s Kate Slee, slayed the floors with a triumphant win.

Since the launch of the Nano 5.0 last year, there’s been a ton of hype around what would come next. As with the Nanos that came before it, the 6.0 has been designed to benefit anyone taking on high-intensity training that requires cushioning, comfort, shock absorption, grip and durability. What makes this shoe the cream of the crop when it comes ti CrossFitting is that it’s built to support the movement of the foot under load.

The Nano continues to demonstrate Reebok’s commitment to refine and engineer the most ground-breaking CrossFit footwear available. Inga Stenta, Senior Director of Reebok’s Brand Management comments on the brands motives to ‘deliver the best products that are worthy of and respect the work of CrossFit athletes worldwide.’ She says, ‘that is all that matters to us and we believe that is precisely what the Nano 6.0 will do in boxes worldwide.’

The Reebok Nano 6.0 is available to purchase via Whatever It Takes or at reebok.co.uk
