If you haven’t heard about fab find: Ahi Poké, you will soon.

Ahi Poké is the latest concept that offers eat in, grab and go, and delivery food, which embraces the ideals of nutrition, sustainability and variety.

The fast-casual fish restaurant in London’s Fitzrovia is a must-try this summer. And it’s definitely one for the seafood lovers!

Inspired by simple Hawaiian beach shacks crossed with the laid-back poké bars of L.A, owners Jeremy Coste, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche brought their research from over the pond and planted it in central London. Located on Percy Street, on the corner of Charlotte Street and Rathbone Place, Ahi Poke boasts a new 25-cover restaurant.

What makes Ahi Poké stand out is its refreshing concept raising conversation about the evolving topic of responsible eating. With that in mind, you can rest assured that it will only serve food that retains its full nutritional value, made fresh to order, using premium and sustainable produce. The beautiful dishes have been inspired by traditional flavours, with roots from the 1920s, when a mass migration of Japanese people to Hawaii resulted in a culinary fusion with the South Pacific diet.

Chef Jeremy Coste has created a delectable insight to Hawaiian food, serving up signature poké bowls, as well as giving customers the chance to put together their own poké masterpiece that’s fit to perfection! Every meal is freshly prepared to order, and boasts a low calorie count, appealing to those who prefer to adopt a clean eating approach.

Designed for those who seek variety, quality and dynamic flavours, Ahi Poké enables you to choose a base (quinoa, sushi rice, or red kale); a protein (ahi tuna, the fish classically used in poké, sea bream, salmon, all sourced from socially responsible fisheries, or marinated mushrooms); a sauce; and toppings. It’s a fit foodie’s dream!

With Poké bowl’s being the new fit food craze to have, it’s no wonder that Ahi Poké specialises in serving only the most nutritional, raw and sustainable ingredients to please the taste buds of London’s foodies. A signature Poké Bowl (ahi tuna, sushi rice, scallions, red onion, black sesame, avocado, furikake, sesame shoyu) will be priced at £11. Expect a wide selection of soft drinks available in the form of homemade iced teas and specialist non-alcoholic beverages imported from the USA.

If your mouth is starting to water from the thought of trying Ahi Poké’s famous poké bowls, then best you get down to Percy Street and try them out for yourself!
