Sweden’s second-largest city, Gothenburg actually has lots to offer when pitted against the better-known Stockholm. It’s become known as the latest hipster hangout, but, truth is, with its chilled-out vibes, thriving music scene, neoclassical architecture, wacky artwork and gritty cafes, it’s always been a must-visit. While-away your time shopping in the north, meandering through century canals, drinking at boutique hang-outs, enjoying fresh fish on the waterfront and enjoying the creative street scene in the west districts – a couple of days frankly won’t be enough.
