Adidas launches new campaignUnleash Your Creativity, featuring 15 female athletes from all over the world.

If you’ve ever needed a quick dose of motivation to get you out the door and to the gym, then these inspiring videos as part of Adidas‘ new campaign might be the key. Unleash Your Creativity, the global campaign running alongside the launch of Adidas’ new SS17 collection, features some of our favourite strong female stars and athletes doing their thing.

Celebrating fitness

15 female fitness influencers from around the world – from a BMX rider to a triathlete – show off their sports talent and creativity in a bid to inspire others to reach their goals. Each woman stars in a series of short videos which show snapshots of their workouts, hobbies and talents. Football players, skateboarders, Olympic athletes… you name it, Adidas have got it covered. Of course, it also gives you a peek at the very cool, on-trend new-season collection, which we can’t wait to get our hands on.

Reaching our potential

One of our favourite videos features supermodel and programmer Karlie Kloss getting sweaty with battle ropes and medicine balls (while still looking amazing, might we add) in this video. It also shows her working on projects outside of the gym, tapping into the creativity which drives her work. Kloss says, ‘Creativity enables me to accomplish more and follow my passions. It is inspiring to work alongside this incredible group of women and help each other achieve our personal goals.’

Breaking barriers

The trail-blazing Ruqsana Begum, who is the world’s first female Muslim kickboxing champion, also stars in the campaign, and you can watch her video here. Begum and Kloss are in good company with professional climber, Miho Nonaka; skateboarder, Nora Vasconcellos; and WNBA all-star Candace Parker – just to name a few! – all also putting their amazing skills on show. Each star takes on sport from a different angle, making this something to inspire everyone in some way or another. They are all truly commendable figures in their field, proving Adidas is serious about what it does.

Adidas also focuses on how creativity and sports run alongside each other, reinforcing the brand’s ‘aggressive pursuit for creativity to push the boundaries of sport.’ Lia Stierwalt, Senior Director of Global Brand Communications at Adidas says, ‘Hard work is a given. We believe that athletes who tap into their creativity have a powerful edge.’

Unleash Your Creativity debuted on 1 February and has already been aired during the Super Bowl LI Pre-Game Show. Look out for it during the NBA All-Star Game as well as the Academy Awards, too.
