Overnight oats

Overnight oats are simply oats that are left covered in the fridge overnight soaked in liquid. Whether you choose to use natural yoghurt or milk, the beauty of soaking oats is that they absorb the liquid they’re in, so they’re ready to eat as soon as you wake up.

I love to use a clean, fruit, nut and seed muesli and almond milk to make my overnight breakfast. Adding fresh berries and natural yoghurt in the morning makes it an even tastier treat.

Ingredients

40g muesli with fruit, nuts and seeds

100ml almond milk

100g natural yoghurt

Handful of mixed blueberries and raspberries

Method

Pour the muesli into a bowl and stir in the almond milk. Cover and put in the refrigerator overnight so the oats absorb the milk. In the morning stir well and top with fresh berries and yoghurt.
