Chocolate mug cake recipe

Need a super quick dessert idea? Try this chocolate mug cake recipe, courtesy of Atkins. It’s just the thing when you want a dessert that’s more substantial than an ice cream but you don’t have three hours spare baking time.

Ingredients (serves 1)

20g almond flour
1tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

0.25tsp baking powder

1tsp of Splenda

1tbsp of butter

1 egg

10ml water

Method

Mix together ingredients in a mug.

Microwave for one minute.

Serve and enjoy!
